Digital & Social Media Marketing Specialist

I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the B.S. Professional Communication & Emerging Media degree program with a concentration in Applied Journalism and a minor in Retail Promotion & Media. My specialty is creating marketing content that promotes a consistent brand image across a company’s social media platforms, email and text marketing, and website. Due to my communication background, I write engaging brand content that’s tailored to a target audience to convert sales and create brand loyalty. I am passionate about branding, digital marketing, social media marketing, content creation and strategy, blogging, graphic design, web design, and digital photography.

Since May 2019, I have worked in-person and remotely as UW Provision’s Retail Promotions and Marketing Assistant. In this role, I have developed excellent prioritization and organization skills through managing the company’s eight social media accounts, website, blog, weekly email newsletter, and text campaigns. Every week, I design six social media posts and write captions that promote conversion and brand loyalty to align with UWP’s sales and brand campaigns. I also write two blog posts biweekly that provide value to the audience by sharing cooking tips and recommended recipes. These blog posts not only coordinate with UWP’s current promotions, but also include relevant keywords and tags for SEO optimization. For more information on my professional background, please view my resume and visit my LinkedIn profile.
